Cardinal Prom 09

What a night and morning! I am working on zero sleep. Cardinal Prom was a blast! The candids are ready to view in the online proofing section. I will post some personal photos as well as the King & Queen in addition to after prom festivities later. Now I am going to take a nap!

Blakesburg Spring Dance 2009

I had a great time at the Blakesburg Spring Dance tonight. DJ Skinny played all their favorite songs and everyone was having the best time. Thanks for inviting me to your event. - Bryan

Prayers for Oliver

Oliver needs your prayers. He has been in the hospital for a few days with low to no platelets. This as a result of a virus that attached it's self to his platelets. In response, his body killed off all his platelets. At last report, the numbers were starting to edge back up, a little. Keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Gavin's Sneak Peek

Gavin's Dad is busy keeping our country safe overseas. This one is going out to you. Thank you and congratulations. Gavin is also the Ottumwa Regional Health Center New Year's baby.

Christian Arnold benefit dates

Last night I attended a meeting to discus ways to raise funds to benefit Christian Arnold and his family. Two benefit dates are set as well as a date for further discussion on additional benefit dates.
The events scheduled as of last night are the following:

Grades and Grub Monday Feb. 9 from 5-8pm in the Gym at Eisenhower

This event is scheduled along with conferences so that parents and students as well as other well wishers can grab a bite to eat and participate in a few carnival style games.
Hot dogs, loose meat hamburgers and chips will be served for a FREE WILL offering. Fountain refreshments will be provided by Dr. Pepper/7up thanks to Jim Hopwood and baked goods will be available for sale as dessert. Dr. Pepper/7up is also providing 2 liter bottles of pop for a ring toss game. Other games and fundraising activities are still being setup.

Three X Wrestling Saturday Evening Feb. 28 in the Gym at the board office. (old Walsh Jr.Hi)

This event is being setup by Brian Dunn and will feature wrestlers in at least three events, maybe more. The people out of DesMoines that run Three X Wrestling are putting this event on as a fundraiser for Christian and as of last night, Brian conveyed that 100% of ticket sales would go to the family. Concessions will also be setup for the event.
